About me
I'm Tyler. I go by Poolmanjim most places. I'm a Microsoft MVP for On-Premises Identity and Identity & Access, and I've been a moderator of r/ActiveDirectory for several years where I guide and participate in the community. I host regular virtual meetups and Q&As, and I present at conferences when they let me.
By day, I work in healthcare IT. Most of my career has been in Identity and almost all of that on-prem Active Directory, in environments from a few dozen domain controllers to more than 1000. I chase the weird and solve the problems no one else wanted. I've done in-house training, built Tiering models, and worked on an ESAE/Red Forest design. I speak English, PowerShell, and some C# when it gets too late.
I'm a husband to an amazing, math-wizard wife and a father to two boys, my junior sysadmins. When I have time left over, I like to break things in my lab, be right on the internet, and play games of any type: board, tabletop, and video.
